If you know you are ready to commit properly, then commit to http://rapidleech.googlecode.com.
To download latest version from SVN
- Download and Install TortoiseSVN Client
- Make a new folder anywhere on your PC
- Right-click on this (empty) folder, and click on 'SVN Checkout'
- Now enter the URL
http://rapidleech.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
into the 'URL of Repository' box - The other default settings should do
- Click OK
- The latest files from SVN will be downloaded to that folder
- Upload the entire folder to your webhost and enjoy!
That's it for getting the latest version. Be aware that the version from SVN might be unstable, have bugs, etc. There is also the possibility it might work better than an official release, if something was since fixed in SVN. So be careful.
To update to latest version from SVN
If you now right-click on the same folder you just checked out the SVN repo into, you will now see 'SVN Update' and 'SVN Commit' instead. You can use 'SVN Update' to update that copy to the latest working copy from SVN if we ever commit anything ourselves. You don't need to worry about the SVN Commit option, you would only use it if you are a developer/member of the repository.
