For a good time being i have notice people ask how do we install rapidleech on our server well finally i have decided to make this topic on installing rapidleech

For Installing Rapidleech First and Foremost you need to have a server on which Php Safe Mode is 'OFF'(most free hosting don't offer this feature) Then Follow These Steps

1. Download Rapidleech From This Forum Go Here - Eqbal's Edition Of Rapidleech

2. Unzip The File Using Winrar or anything you like in a folder on your PC

3. Then Open Your Cpanel Which Your Hosting Company Has Given You.

4. Then search For A Icon Of File Manager , then click on it .

5. Then search For A File Named "public_html" , open it.

6. There Will be many files in it , create a new folder in Public_Html , name it any thing you like.

7. Then upload all the files unzipped at step no. 2 in a folder to that new folder that you have created in your Public_html

8. There will Be a Folder Named "Files" within the files that you have currently uploaded . Right Click On It there Will Be A Option of "Change Permissions", click on it

9. A Box type Structure Will Appear,Check All the boxes In the Menu or input the values as 777

10. Go to your site www.example.com/name of the folder that you Created At step 6/

11. Your Rapidleech is working

Reply if you don't understand steps well i have tried my best to make you people understand steps involved in installing rapidleech but do tell me if this tutorial is useful and i will try my best to make it more easy to understand soon i will add pictures for better understanding

Any suggestions for making this tutorial much simpler are welcomed.

I had rapidleech v2.2. recently I have downloaded the v2.3 .

1) I have downloaded the RapidLeechV2.3__mod_build_12.03.08.rar file in my pc.

2) unrar-ed the files.

3) uploaded the files in my hosting ( under /public_html/leech ).

4) changed the following permissions:

CODE

chmod 777 index.php

chmod 777 files

cd classes

cd linkember

chmod 777 shouts.php

5) Tried in my browser : http://myhost/leech/index.php which returns me:

Warning: main(configs/config.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/******/public_html/leech/index.php on line 25

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'configs/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /home/******/public_html/leech/index.php on line 25

****** = user name replaced by *, for security.

can anyone help me ? I need that badly.

@eeeboy: you are not using latest version, use plugmod revision 8 by eqbal (search)!

I have downloaded the Eqbal version. installed it.. got the error:

I succesfull installed rapidleech 12.03.08 but when i tried download from rapidshare using rapidleech i got this error
"Error getting access image url"
Why?
sometime i got error "could not connect to Rapidshare server port 80"

I suggest you to use Eqbal Plugmod latest revision....

right now the latest is rev.15

and don't forget CHMOD your folder...
